LAKELAND, FL. – Polk Community College and The Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Polk County are pleased to present the first multicultural business event in Polk County this coming May 17, 2008. All under one roof, members of the business and non business community will be able to showcase/exhibit their businesses and/or services. Not only to each other as a source of networking and getting to know each other on a closer and personal level, but to also present their self’s to the general public.

“This is a great partnership with the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Polk County and Polk Community College,” said President Ana Rivera, “I am looking forward to being the first Hispanic/Latino entity in the county to marry both service with information for our county citizens of all nationalities”.

“This is the first ever in Polk County, where a variety of businesses can showcase their products. This event is not catered to just the Hispanic/Latino population but to all nationalities now here in Polk County” said Ana Rivera, President and CEO of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Polk County. “It is also a celebration of Polk County’s multicultural community. The perfect reason for coming together under one roof for the sake of growth and prosperity”.

The centerpiece of the “Business 2 Business International Expo 2008” are the exhibitors and the numerous Seminars and Workshops offered through the event that day. Of which will be available to both exhibitors and the general public with a nominal fee.

The event will be inaugurated by a notable and leader of the community. An event to become an annual one.

The “Business 2 Business International Expo 2008” will be sponsored by the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Polk County and hosted by Polk Community College.
